B.B. Beach Lectures 2024: new appointment

The next meeting of the 2024 B.B. Beach Lectures will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, at 11:00 a.m., a series of events dedicated to highly topical philosophical, political, and cultural themes. These meetings are intended as a privileged forum for dialogue and discussion, inviting participants to reflect on key issues facing our society.

The next event will feature Luciano Violante, a prominent figure in the Italian institutional landscape, a former magistrate and former President of the Chamber of Deputies. During the event, Violante will present his new book, “Ma io ti ho sempre salvato. La maschera della morte e il nomos della vita,” published by Bollati Boringhieri in 2024. The book addresses highly relevant issues, exploring the complex relationship between life, justice, and the meaning of institutions in contemporary society.

The meeting will be moderated by Davide Romano, director of the Adventist Institute of Biblical Culture and professor at the Adventist Faculty of Theology. Through a stimulating and in-depth interview, he will guide the audience through the analysis of the book’s key points and the author’s personal reflections. It will be a moment of exchange and sharing, where dialogue will be the true protagonist.

Le B.B. Beach Lectures 2024 They are a participatory experience that focuses on direct dialogue with the speakers and the active involvement of the audience, inviting participants to reflect on issues central to our society.
